Aneta Pochatko

Illustrator

Aneta specializes in creating black-line illustrations that showcase a variety of subjects. She draws inspiration from emotions, nature, and everyday objects, utilizing symbols to convey the feelings that are portrayed in her artwork. Aneta's ultimate goal is to capture the textures and impressions of each subject in a playful yet elegant manner, striving to convey the moment, intensity, and emotions in each piece.

To achieve the desired depth and fine details, she employs varying line intensities and dotting techniques. By blending both styles, she is able to interpret the subject's texture and surface.

“When I work on my art pieces, I often get lost in the process. It has a calming effect on me and allows me to experiment with lines and dots to create vibrant compositions.”

While Aneta's primary focus is on black-line illustrations, she is also fascinated by the surfaces and characteristics of different textures. She utilizes mixed media and acrylic paint to create works that capture the essence of these textures, expressing depth and dynamic form in a unique way.

“Working with texture is always fascinating. It allows for the expression of depth and dynamic form, and provides a unique tactile experience with the medium.”

Aneta is based in Benson, Wallingford, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Design from the Technical University in Kosice, Slovakia. She is open to commissions and welcomes new opportunities to showcase her skills.
