Aneta Pochatko
Mixed‑media artist and workshop facilitator
Aneta is a mixed‑media texture artist working now mainly with peeled cardboard and other to explore the quiet interior states of being. Her practice reveals layered surfaces and subtle marks that echo emotional erosion, inner conversations, and the soft shifts that happen beneath the skin. Through a process‑led approach, she lets the material guide the work, allowing textures, rhythms, and exposed structures to shape each piece.
“Working with texture is always fascinating. It allows for the expression of depth and dynamic form, and provides a unique tactile experience with the medium.”
Alongside her studio practice, she facilitates gentle, explorative workshops that invite people to slow down, notice, and reconnect with their own creative rhythms through simple materials and open‑ended play. You can see upcoming workshops here or on her website. Aneta also accommodates private and corporate art sessions tailored to the needs of each group.
Aneta is one of the associate coordinators at Ayres House Studios, supporting the creative community through gentle coordination, member support, and shared projects.
