Associations Exhibition
The Ayres House Associate Artists’ annual group exhibition, ‘Associations,’ opens on 29th August at Ayres House Studios, showcasing diverse contemporary craft and art by local artists who regularly collaborate and support each other in the studio. The exhibition also features drop-in workshops on 30th–31st August during Wallingford’s BunkFest, including Creative Mask Making, Clay Play, and a collaborative mural.
Talisman and Charm Carving Workshop
Explore the world of wax carving and make something personal in the form of a wearable talisman or charm. In this 3-hour workshop you'll have the opportunity to experiment with both soft jewellers wax and hard jewellers wax using various methods of sculpting, carving and melting.
Sunday Ring Making Workshop

Ayres House Studios opens the ‘Life Room’ providing optional tuition, a model, easels and boards on select dates throughout the year. Suitable for students and those wanting to experence life drawing with tutor support as well as experienced artists who may like to work without assistance.
Ring Making Workshop with Anonoma Jewellery
In this 2.5 hour hands-on workshop you will learn all the skills required to design and create your own bespoke ring using ancient wax carving techniques!
This workshop is a perfect opportunity to free your mind, get creative and connect with other like-minded people whilst making a special heirloom.
