Signet Sand Casting Workshop
In this three-hour workshop, you’ll learn the basics of sand casting and leave with a finished sterling silver signet ring. This class is perfect for those who love organic, raw styles—sand casting has a mind of its own, often leaving behind subtle imprints of sand and tiny imperfections that add to the ring’s character.
The Winter Cake and Coffee Club: Drawing from Nature - with Lin Kerr
We will be drawing from real objects in my Nature collection and you are encouraged to bring your own ideas and finds as well. Lin is a fully qualified art teacher and encourages various approaches from loose blind contour work to careful observational drawing.

The Winter Cake and Coffee Club: Stitch your own journal with Lin Kerr
Bookbinding: Make 2-3 multi-section notebooks, journals or sketchbooks using Coptic stitching. The size can be between A6 and A4 and these books open flat. They have pretty covers and decorative stitched spines with good quality paper.
Creative Mask Making with Aneta Pochatko
Get colourful, get playful, and get festival-ready! In this joyful drop-in workshop, you’ll create your own fantasy or animal-inspired mask using feathers, glitter, paint, and more. Whether you’re channeling a shimmering fox, a glittery dragon, or a mysterious forest spirit, let your imagination lead the way.
Clay Play
Dive into the tactile joy of clay in this relaxed drop-in session for all ages. Led by Philippa Macarthur & Liz Gordon as part of BunkFest and the Associations group exhibition, you'll be invited to explore creativity through hands-on sculpting and playful experimentation.
Go Wild with Flowers
Explore creativity and experiment with drawing in mixed media to make a collaborative large floral mural.

Associations Exhibition
The Ayres House Associate Artists’ annual group exhibition, ‘Associations,’ opens on 29th August at Ayres House Studios, showcasing diverse contemporary craft and art by local artists who regularly collaborate and support each other in the studio. The exhibition also features drop-in workshops on 30th–31st August during Wallingford’s BunkFest, including Creative Mask Making, Clay Play, and a collaborative mural.
