Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Jacky carries a deep-rooted connection to the UK through her family ties. Her recent relocation marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter in her life. Jacky's professional journey has been characterised by a diverse and extensive career spanning the realms of the film Industry, fashion, and digital design.

Jacky thrived in her career as a Fashion Studio Graphic Design Manager at a large fashion retailer. She received the "innovative contribution" award for the role she played in the Ladies Fashion Studio. Alongside her management role she was a graphic and apparel designer. Jacky was actively involved in creating prints and graphics, brand development, mood boards, technical cad drawing, trend research, print and garment swots, workshops and seasonal presentations.

During her career as a Fashion Studio manager, Jacky discovered her innate passion for guiding and mentoring young designers. This became an integral part of her professional identity.

Today, Jacky's time is a carefully orchestrated blend of various creative pursuits. On one front, she works as a freelance production potter. On another, she takes on the role of a freelance fashion buyer.

In addition to her multifaceted career, Jacky is currently in the process of setting up a small creative business. Here, she plans to design and craft an array of fashion and homeware products, each infused with her original prints and a touch of handcrafted ceramics. This venture serves as a testament to her unyielding passion for creativity and innovation.
